More on Reliance and BigFlicks ($100 million more)
Reliance plans to spend $100 million to create, promote and operate online video-on-demand and video rental portal BigFlicks. This is definitely going to be a big blow for others like Seventymm already in the space of video rentals and Rajshri who provide online video-on-demand services… or will it heat up the competition and drive prices down? Reliance plans to serve streaming and downloadable video content from $2 to $16.
