BharatMatrimony CEO - on Social Networks
BharatMatrimony CEO has said in an interview with AgencyFAQs that Matrimonial market cannot be affected by the new Social Networks that are cropping up all over. He said that the specific need of a matrimonial classified site will remain to be a niche, and will not be affected by Social Networks. I tend to think otherwise - and firmly believe that a large chunk of their market will be eaten away. Even though they are a niche vertical - they will be affected. The whole concept of people getting on Social Networks to find friends and probably mates is catching on.
